HISTORY
Andrea Casotti - founder of the THoO brand - has been working in the perfume industry since 2006 and has discovered a place where numbers and creativity can coexist.
Maths and creativity are the cornerstones of his career, and he firmly believes that the value of artistic perfumery lies not only in market share, but rather in the pioneering spirit of creativity and trends.
In 2017, Andrea Casotti decided to launch a new olfactory project called "The House of Oud", now known as THoO.
THoO is a concentrate of art, perfume and cultural journeys. It combines knowledge, experience and the millennia-old art of perfume, bringing to life exciting stories, original decorations, unique packaging and highly successful eclectic partnerships.

Today, THoO is best known for its iconic top-down design bottles, among other things, and enjoys great popularity in the artistic sector of niche perfumery.
For his first collections, Andrea Casotti collaborated with the perfumers of the fragrance house where he held the role of CEO for many years and no longer chose oud as the star fragrance ingredient, but rather as a bouquet of fragrances that lend character and depth to his fragrance creations. This change of perspective already shows the innovative spirit of the brand, its desire to transcend trends and find its own style.
Over time, the olfactory history diversified, new fragrances were added, new scenarios were explored, the artistic formulas were entrusted to the perfumers of CFF, and the precious collaboration with interior designer Cristina Mercaldo - today creative director of THoO - began.
THoO thus embarks on its journey into the modern world, across art, music, styles, perfumes, painting, beauty, nature and life - always following the path of creative freedom.

Masterful works of art - made by hand
For the two creatives behind THoO, an exquisite fragrance belongs in an equally exquisite bottle. So it's no surprise that they have developed an equally masterful design for their olfactory masterpieces:
All bottles are handcrafted and decorated with unusual motifs, making them one-of-a-kind. The unique design was inspired by the shape of our palm.
The so-called "top-down bottle" is characteristic of the creations. Special vacuum tests were carried out to ensure the density, while the pumps used ensure that every drop of the precious fragrances is sprayed.
