Le Male Elixir Absolu Parfum Intense by Jean Paul Gaultier is an intense fragrance creation that belongs to the aromatic-woody fragrance family. The composition unfolds with a multi-faceted opening in which the juicy sweetness of plum meets a spicy blend of cinnamon and cardamom, accompanied by the light freshness of bergamot.
At the heart of the fragrance is the unmistakable lavender, whose clear notes are given an interesting, herbaceous depth by aromatic mugwort. The base note provides a long-lasting and warm finish. Here, the sweet nuances of tonka bean combine with the resinous character of benzoin and ladan resin. Earthy patchouli and the subtle warmth of ambrette round off the composition and lend it a sensual radiance. The fragrance is captured in the iconic torso bottle, which for this edition is finished entirely in a shimmering gold tone.
