The olfactory signature of the well-known fragrance "Not a Perfume" finds a new form of expression in this home accessory. At the centre of the composition is the molecule cetalox, which is also known as ambroxan and is appreciated for its unmistakable character. This special note unfolds a pure, minimalist atmosphere characterised by woody and musky nuances. As part of the "Not a Collection", the product transfers the purist concept to the home. Made from a mixture of mineral waxes, the candle has a burn time of around 45 hours. Visually, the white, cylindrical vessel features a striking design element: the word "NOT A CANDLE" adorns the surface, with the word "NOT" in red forming a contrast to the remaining black text. To ensure that the candle burns evenly, we recommend shortening the wick to around 0.5 cm before use and leaving the candle to burn for at least two hours when lighting it for the first time. This allows the aroma to spread optimally throughout the room.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
