Dolce&Gabbana, a dream couple that not only inspires the fashion world. The label was founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in Legnano, a town near Milan. Dolce, an exceptional talent, began designing and tailoring his own clothes at the age of six. He applied for a job at the Gabbana fashion house and they soon continued working together. While the duo initially designed exquisite fashion, other segments were soon added. In the 1990s, it was the perfumes by Dolce&Gabbana that caused a furore. As simple as the names of the first compositions were - "Parfum" for women and "pour Homme" for men - their success was sensational. Both fragrances received prestigious awards. Devotion is one of the more recent creations.
