The Angled Cheek Contour Brush from Laura Mercier is one of the particularly good brushes if you want to contour your cheeks with make-up. The round and bevelled brush head adapts perfectly to the shape of your cheekbones. This makes application and blending child's play with a perfect result.
How to use the Angled Cheek Contour Brush from Laura Mercier correctly:
Apply make-up with the brush head. The synthetic fibres ensure that a particularly large amount of powder sticks. Then press the brush briefly against your hand to set the product. You can tap out any excess powder. Then apply the make-up in dabs and blend the individual dabs with sweeping movements. Then clean the brush with lukewarm water and shampoo or a mild liquid soap and gently squeeze the water out of the fibres of the brush head by hand. Good to know: You can find more brushes from Laura Mercier in our range here. Take a look at the Finishing Pony Tail Brush, the Creme Eye Colour Brush, the All Over Eye Brush or the Creme Cheek Colour Brush, for example. We hope you enjoy trying out the high-quality cosmetic brushes.Use
Textures automatically adhere to the synthetic fibres of the brush. To achieve optimum results with pressed powders, first press the bristles into the powder and then lightly onto the back of your hand to work the texture into the brush. This way, it will hold more firmly in the bristles and won't fall out so easily. After tapping off the excess powder, apply the powder generously with tapping movements and light pressure. Then blend as desired.
Hold the brush between your thumb and middle finger when applying make-up, approximately in the centre of the handle, but a little closer to the brush head. Use your index finger for additional control. To smudge and diffuse, grip the brush at the end of the handle and hold it loosely in your hand.
Clean your brushes with mild shampoo and a little water if necessary. Then rinse them thoroughly under clear water. If you are using Laura's Brush Cleanser, dip them in or spray on the cleanser and remove the make-up with a paper towel. Make sure you always pick up the products in the direction of the fibres and return the bristles to their original state last so that they retain their shape - never twist, spiral or wipe against a hard surface. Lay them flat to dry, do not stand them up, and transport them separately to protect them when travelling.
