The Mandragola Extrait de Parfum from the V Canto Red Collection, launched in 2016, may wear a velvety red robe on its bottle, but that is not necessary to be in this illustrious group of fragrances. Rather, this floral-oriental fragrance for men and women was also inspired by a poison. To create it, various woods and herbs were blended into an aphrodisiac that could also have a lethal effect. Paolo Terenzi was inspired by the old recipe to create an entrancing and enchanting fragrance. So he mixed lime, bergamot, saffron and absinthe for the top note. Petitgrain, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, musk and guaiac wood form the heart.
From a poison to an olfactory work of art
The V Canto Red Collection Mandragola Extrait de Parfum is rounded off with amber, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla and oud. The composition is soft, harmonious, creamy and incredibly sophisticated. In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.

- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Take action to prevent static discharges. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. Get medical advice/attention. Immerse in cool water [or wrap in wet bandages]. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
