The Zao Mascara Refill Daring Volume Mascara has been specially designed to reuse the brand's high-quality bamboo packaging, effectively reducing unnecessary packaging waste. Inside the simple, transparent plastic container with the ribbed, black screw cap is a vegan texture that is based on a very high percentage of ingredients of natural origin. Selected components such as bamboo hydrosol and carnauba wax form the smooth base of this formula. The formulation aims to give the lashes visible, expressive volume and intense colour depth. Particular attention is paid to the consistency, which can be evenly distributed and visually thickens the lashes without clumping. By simply replacing the inner cartridge, the original casing including the brush remains in use, making application as precise as ever. This refill is therefore a resource-saving option that combines the usual make-up result with ecological awareness.

Regardless of the brush shape, mascara is applied from the lash line outwards in a slight zigzag motion. The lashes on the upper eyelid are brushed from bottom to top, the lashes on the lower eyelid from the lash line downwards.

Gel mascara is applied with a brush like normal mascara. It protects and cares for the lashes and can be used under coloured mascara.
