The ghd bodyguard heat protection spray has been developed to protect coloured hair when using heat styling tools. Its lightweight formulation forms an invisible film around the hair without weighing it down or leaving a sticky feeling. The spray is designed to prepare the hair for temperatures of up to 230 °C. It contains UV filters that can help to maintain the luminosity of the hair colour. After application, the hair feels smooth and has a beautiful shine. The product is an ideal addition to the daily styling routine and is easy to use before using a straightener, curling iron or hairdryer.

Heat protection should be applied before every use of heat styling tools, be it a crepe iron, straightener, curling iron, hairdryer or hot round brush. After shampooing, spray the heat protection onto towel-dried hair from a maximum distance of 30 centimetres. Make sure that you apply a sufficient amount of the spray to your hair. However, you can use the heat protection not only on wet hair, you should also apply it to dry hair before heat styling.
