Surrounded by flowers, wrapped in delicate organza and the finest linen, she cared for her hair with vanilla and patchouli. Her scent was unmistakable, her charisma divine - so much so that Darius had a statue made of pure gold erected in her honour.
Centuries later, the recipe for her favourite fragrance was discovered on a preserved clay tablet - and reinterpreted by master perfumers.
