The formula combines a selection of botanical oils, including tsubaki seed oil, daikon seed oil and fermented camelina oil. Daikon seed oil, in particular, is characterised by its high refractive index, which can give the hair a visible shine without weighing it down. The product leaves hair feeling supple and offers up to 24 hours’ protection against frizz. It also provides heat protection when using styling tools at temperatures of up to 232°C. Aveda’s signature Pure-Fume™ fragrance – a blend of 25 pure floral and botanical essences such as lavender, ylang-ylang and petitgrain – provides a unique sensory experience. The vegan formulation is certified as cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny programme and comes in a bottle with a handy pump dispenser.
