Jacques Guerlain created L'Heure Bleue in 1912. Bergamot, iris, carnation, neroli and violet merge into a floral-oriental fragrance that smells a bit like bubblegum and Indian puff. I love it!!!

The eau de toilette in particular brings out all the facets of this dream fragrance. For me, one of the best fragrances of all time!

I gave this classic from 1912 several hours to develop, because that's what Guerlain needs, but that's all I smell here, apart from stale, musty clove or neroli, no violet, no freshness, no powderiness and certainly no much-loved vanilla from the house of Guerlain! The Guerlain fragrances are true works of art for me, but here my nose fails completely. I only tested the edt, as the fragrance is hard to come by. However, as with almost all Guerlain fragrances: the 2 spritzes on the wrist are still very fragrant after about 9 hours, hence 2 stars. Top notes: aniseed, bergamot Heart notes: garden carnation, neroli Base notes: iris, violet, vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean

Thank you very much for the extremely fast delivery! This fragrance is really special. Created in 1912, it is still highly fascinating. I have wanted it for a long time. Elegant and multi-layered, not necessarily sparkling fresh, but rather warm and vanilla-like. I'm really looking forward to wearing it in the colder months.
