CAUTION: This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation in some people. You should therefore carry out a patch test first, following the enclosed instructions. This product must not be used to colour eyelashes or eyebrows. Doing so may cause blindness. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Carry out an allergy warning test 48 hours before each use of the product, even if the client has previously used hair colouring products. Using a cotton bud, apply a pea-sized amount of the product in a thin, even layer to a 0.5'' x 0.5'' / 2 cm x 2 cm area of skin on the inside of the forearm. Leave the product on the skin for 45 minutes. Do not cover or touch the area, and avoid contact with clothing. After 45 minutes, wash the test area with water and pat dry with a clean tissue. Rinse the test area immediately if you or the client notice any changes to the normal appearance of the skin during the test period or in the following 48 hours, such as itching, redness or swelling on or around the test area. Do not use the product in such cases and advise the client to seek medical advice before colouring their hair. When carried out under these conditions, the Allergy Warning Test is an important precautionary measure that has proven to be reliable. Please bear in mind that you may still experience an allergic reaction when colouring your hair, even if you have carried out an allergy test. The Allergy Warning Test does not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur in the future. If in doubt or if you have any questions, consult a doctor.
