The renowned manufacturer HH Simonsen offers a wide range of curling irons and hairdryers that impress with their professional design and handling when styling hair. The VS7 Rod Curling Iron is a curling iron in a classic design that is ideal for styling medium and long hair. Whether classic or modern curls - with this high-quality heat tool, you can realise your styling wishes safely and reliably. It is absolutely safe to use thanks to the safety switch-off, a non-slip handle and a long cable that can be rotated 360 degrees. Curling irons & hairdryers from HH Simonsen are tools that "stand their ground" at home as well as in the salon.Variable temperature for all hair types
Like many other curling irons and hairdryers from HH Simonsen, the VS7 Rod Curling Iron also has intelligent temperature regulation for optimum hair styling for all hair types. The temperature can be individually set in the range from 120 °C to 200 °C. To simplify hair styling, the curling iron is equipped with double ceramic heating elements that ensure even heat distribution. In addition, the aluminium and Teflon surface ensures that your hair glides safely and smoothly and minimises frizz. Please note that the operating instructions are only supplied with the appliance in English and Danish.Use
Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.
Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.
Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.
Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.
Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
