Inspired by a literary legend, the Histoires de Parfums 1899 Eau de Parfum Spray tells a story full of elegance and character. This olfactory creation from the French fragrance house pays homage to Ernest Hemingway and captures the atmosphere of a legendary Parisian bar. It opens with an invigorating blend of Italian bergamot, juniper berries and a hint of black pepper. At the heart of the composition, a bouquet of orange blossom and Florentine iris unfolds, refined by the warm spice of cinnamon. The base note anchors the fragrance with the gentle sweetness of vanilla, earthy vetiver and warm ambergris, resulting in a long-lasting and multi-faceted fragrance experience. 1899 is a complex, spicy-aromatic fragrance that creates a sophisticated balance between freshness and warmth and leaves an unobtrusive but present sillage.

    In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
