Sophisticated facial cleansing is often defined by the texture and the experience during application. The Lancôme Absolue Rose 80 Cleansing Balm-to-Foam offers a versatile consistency that is designed as a 2-in-1 solution. Firstly, the product appears as a firm, rich balm that is applied to dry skin. The mass begins to melt through the warmth of the skin and gentle massaging movements. As soon as water is added, the texture changes again and transforms into a soft, milky foam. This formulation is based on a rose emulsion, which, according to Lancôme, makes up 80 per cent and forms the core of the Absolue line. The formula is complemented by tried and tested components such as glycerine and fatty acids. The gold-coloured, light-reflecting jar with black lettering also visually emphasises its affiliation to the luxurious Absolue range and sits comfortably in the hand thanks to its rounded shape. Make-up and daily build-up can be removed using this multi-stage process. After rinsing, the cleanser leaves the skin feeling clear and fresh.

Cleanse in the morning: Using the spatula, apply a moderate amount of balm to fingertips. Add warm water to activate the rich lather. Apply to damp skin and gently massage in circular motions from forehead to chin to remove impurities. Rinse off with warm water.

Make-up removal: Using the spatula, apply a generous amount of the balm to your fingertips and melt into a cream. Apply to dry skin and gently remove make-up*.
