Whether due to prolonged sleep, diet, alcohol consumption or hormonal fluctuations - fluid retention in the face is completely normal. The stainless steel massage tool promotes lymphatic drainage, temporarily reducing puffiness and relieving tension for a firmer, more radiant appearance.
Use
Step 1
Start by cleansing your face as usual. Then apply a few drops of facial oil or cream to ensure sufficient lubrication.
Step 2
Start in the centre of your forehead and move the tool upwards and outwards towards your temples. Apply gentle but firm pressure so that the Gua Sha follows the natural curves of your face, always moving it upwards and outwards to direct the fluid to the lymph nodes.
Step 3
Move the tool towards your cheeks and the centre of your face and outwards towards your hairline.
Step 4
Starting at the centre of the chin, run the tool along the jawline towards the ear. Move past the ear and down the neck to the collarbone. Repeat on the other side.
Step 5
For the neck area, guide the tool upwards from the collarbone to the jaw using light pressure.
Step 6
Finish by massaging the shoulders and neck. Guide the Gua Sha with firm pressure from the shoulders to the base of the skull to stimulate circulation and relieve tension.
Pro tip: Keep it in the fridge for a particularly refreshing effect - perfect after a long day or night. Use it on your sinuses to clear them and reduce swelling around your nose and cheeks.
