Maison Margiela Replica Sailing Day captures the olfactory memory of a carefree day on the open sea. This unisex eau de toilette opens with a sparkling top note of aldehydes, juniper and a hint of red pepper, reminiscent of a fresh sea breeze. At the heart of the composition, aquatic accords combine with the powdery elegance of iris and the spice of coriander to recreate the feeling of cool surf on the skin. The base note anchors the fragrance with warm, woody nuances of cedarwood and the salty depth of ambergris, reminiscent of sun-dried driftwood on the shore. In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
