Whereby dazzling does not mean opulent and glamorous, but multi-faceted. The rich cocktail of ingredients gives the composition such a voluminous character that it defies categorisation. In the top note, this member of the Black Label Collection offers a tangy spiciness - which is initially given sweet and warm accents in the heart before maritime nuances provide a "cooling" effect. In the base, Mancera finally focuses on woody, leathery accords. Black Gold is a very stubborn fragrance.

An ambivalent composition

Unmistakably recognisable on the outside as a representative of Mancera's Black Label Collection, Black Gold Eau de Parfum Spray breaks with the straightforwardness of its siblings. Citrus fruits, agarwood and nutmeg compete with lavender and cinnamon for dominance in the top note - and remain in a constant standoff. Jasmine, violet and rose play a floral game in the heart note, which is given a harmonious framework by exotic patchouli leaf. Meanwhile, maritime notes prevent the fragrance from "slipping" into femininity. The very masculine base seems to vehemently emphasise this endeavour: Smoky amber and woody notes, earthy vetiver and white musk create a deeply harshly aromatic aura. Black Gold is an eau de parfum spray that is either completely pleasing - or not at all.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming.
