Here’s how to do it:
Moisten the bristles with warm water and a little mild soap or a brush cleaner.
Gently rub the bristles in the palm of your hand.
Rinse the bristles and repeat this until the water runs clear.
Gently squeeze out any excess moisture with your hand or a towel.
Shape the bristles back into place and leave each brush to air-dry lying flat or upside down.

If necessary, the handles and metal ferrules can be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.

Do not use hot water.
Make sure the ferrule does not get wet.
Do not immerse the brushes in water or cleaning products.
