With the Shadow Play fragrance trilogy, NISHANE presents a selection of creative niche fragrances. Each fragrance is inspired by a character from the Turkish shadow play. Their typical character traits are reflected in the fragrance creation. KARAGOZ Extrait de Parfum Spray was inspired by the main character of the Turkish shadow theatre: a simple, cheerful man with rough edges who takes everyday life with humour. This fruity, aromatic unisex fragrance emphasises his joie de vivre and straightforwardness.

KARAGOZ: an extrait de parfum spray with esprit

Jorge Lee is the perfumer who has taken on the wonderful task of developing the fragrances in the Shadow Play line for NISHANE. In his work, he incorporates both oriental and western fragrance traditions. In this way, he succeeds in creating unusual and fascinating fragrances that can be worn by both men and women. The black grape in the top note is an allusion to the name of the character, as KARAGOZ means black eye. The fruity scent of grapes is complemented by pineapple and spicy herbs. In the heart note, jasmine blossom, neroli oil and patchouli blend to create a stimulating potpourri. The striking base accord of oud, amber and vetiver indicates that this figure from the Turkish shadow play is not averse to sensual pleasures.

The extrait de parfum unfolds its personality only in combination with the skin. The uniqueness of the perfume is particularly evident on the warm and pulsating areas of the body (e.g. the inside of the wrists or the areas behind the earlobes).
