Another fragrance from Olfactive Studio's Sepia Collection, launched in 2020, is the Violet Shot extrait de parfum. The fragrance is fresh and spicy, impresses with its extraordinary longevity and sillage and was created by the great Dominique Ropion. He creates a top note of grass, Calabrian mandarin and Madagascan pink pepper. Spicy, warm safflower and violet leaves from Egypt form the heart note. The base in turn consists of Spanish labdanum, patchouli from Indonesia and vanilla from Madagascar. The violets from the heart note are naturally the star of this leather-clad perfume from the Sepia Collection.

The best violet fragrance I own. It smells clear and cheerful. The flowers are joined by the scent of green leaves and fresh moss on a sunny spring day. It's a cheerful modern interpretation of violets. I initially ordered 10ml of the fragrance. When I smelled it, the next day I immediately ordered a full bottle.
