The 5.1 Suede Osmanthe creation adds a multi-faceted composition to the Numbered Collection of the French house Pierre Guillaume Paris, which was launched in 2017. The eau de parfum spray is characterised by a special olfactory concept that creates the impression of osmanthus blossom, although this ingredient is deliberately absent from the formulation. Instead, the perfumer constructs an illusion through the skilful interplay of different accords. Floral aldehydes meet the flavours of black tea and fruity notes of apricot, which together evoke an association with fine, soft suede. This impression is supported by the special leather fragrance Suederal®, which gives the perfume a modern texture. In the base, cashmeran and musk provide a harmonious finish. The character of the fragrance is considered delicate and discreet, with a subtle complexity that lies close to the skin. The visual appearance is in keeping with the brand's minimalist style: a rectangular glass bottle is topped with a black cap. On the front is a characteristic round, black sticker bearing the name "SUEDE OSMANTHE", the number "5.1" and the words "PARFUMERIE GÉNÉRALE" in white writing.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
