The composition 11.1 Indian Wood from the Numbered Collection by Pierre Guillaume Paris interprets the theme of the spicy-aromatic fragrance family in a nuanced and multi-layered way. Reminiscent of an olfactory walk through an exotic forest during the monsoon season, this creation skilfully plays with fascinating contrasts between coolness and warmth. The opening is initially invigorating and fresh thanks to the combination of peppermint, lemon and cardamom, with nutmeg adding a spicy note. This cool top note is followed by a complex heart that combines dry jasmine with the striking accords of cedarwood and allspice. The base harmoniously rounds off the fragrance, blending balsamic notes of fir balsam, vetiver and oakmoss with the creamy softness of coconut milk and sandalwood. Launched in 2016, the eau de toilette is considered an independent evolution of the classic Harmatan Noir and is characterised by its balance between spicy sharpness and soft, woody facets. The fragrance is presented in a simple, rectangular clear glass bottle with the characteristic black label, which draws attention to the high-quality essence.
