The French family-owned company SISLEY develops and distributes high-quality skincare, makeup, and luxury perfumes.

For three generations, the d’Ornano family has been dedicated to developing luxury cosmetic products, resulting in a globally renowned brand.

When Hubert d’Ornano founded SISLEY in 1976, aromatherapy and phytotherapy were still unknown concepts in Europe. The use of plant extracts and essential oils in beauty products was a completely novelty at the time.

Hubert d’Ornano recognized early on that the plant world offered a fertile field for research (there are approximately 800,000 different plant species worldwide), as humankind has always relied on plants for respiration, nutrition, and healing.

The company founder became a true pioneer by combining comprehensive knowledge with rigorous guidelines in his phytocosmetics research laboratories.
