Santal Majuscule from Serge Lutens' Collection Noire is a composition based on the interplay of sandalwood, cocoa and damask rose. The fragrance unfolds with the warm and creamy notes of sandalwood, which form the characteristic core of the eau de parfum. This woody base is complemented by the subtle bitterness of unsweetened cocoa, which gives the fragrance an unexpected depth and a dry, powdery texture. Damask rose adds a delicate floral facet that rounds off the composition without taking centre stage. The result is a balanced fragrance that follows a clear olfactory line. In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
