Colour changes often require precise solutions to correct unwanted nuances without unnecessarily stressing the hair structure. Wella Color Renew Crystal Powder has been specially developed to gently reduce or remove permanent hair colours and tints. The mode of action is based on a combination of vitamin C and citric acid, which can effectively deoxidise oxidative colour pigments. A decisive advantage of this method is the preservation of the natural melanin pigment tone, as the hair is not lightened. To activate the ingredients, it is necessary to mix them with the separately available Colour Renew Activator Liquid in a ratio of 1:9. This formula deliberately dispenses with ammonia, peroxide, persulphates and perfume and therefore offers a gentle alternative to conventional colour removers. The mixture to be applied acts on the dry hair when heat is applied and can dissolve colour overlays and harmonise colour gradients. Depending on the condition of the hair and the application time, colour depths can be adjusted by up to three levels. The pink-coloured sachets each contain 9 g of powder and enable precise dosing for professional use.
