WoodWick Scented candles

The scented candles from the WoodWick brand are characterised by their very special quality and unique selling point: the wooden candle wick. This wooden wick not only ensures very clean burning without soot, but also produces a delightful crackling sound when the flame dances. This crackling sound is subtly reminiscent of the crackling of a fire in an open fireplace and, in addition to the scent of the candle, can create a cosy feeling of warmth and security. The wooden lids, specially adapted to the shape of each candle jar, can be used as coasters to protect furniture surfaces from the heat of the candle jar.

Warm Woods scented candle range from WoodWick

The scented candles in the Warm Woods range from WoodWick combine three tried-and-tested fragrances in one candle jar: the Warm Woods candles contain the popular scents Fireside, Redwood and Sandalwood Clove in individual layers. As the candle burns, these fragrances are gradually released into the room air according to the layers. However, the transition from one fragrance to another also results in phases in which two of these harmonising fragrances merge into a common fragrance. While the Fireside fragrance is characterised by scents such as black oak, smoked mahogany, apple peel and musk, Redwood is characterised by redwood and cedar wood notes in combination with rosewood, musk and moss. In the Sandalwood Clove fragrance, the intense sandalwood character is rounded off by the aroma of sweet cloves.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
