How to use the WoodWick White Tea & Jasmine scented candle

Place the candle on a fire-resistant surface away from children and pets. To ensure that the candle burns evenly, it should burn at least until the top layer of wax has completely liquefied each time it is used. The wooden lid serves to optimise the preservation of the fragrance between uses.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
