The scent of freshly washed laundry gently drying in the wind is the epitome of purity and freshness. The Yankee Candle Clean Cotton scented wax captures exactly this atmosphere in a handy wax melt. The olfactory journey begins with invigorating top notes of ozone, green foliage and tangy bergamot and lemon. A floral heart then unfolds, harmoniously combining lily of the valley and rose with other white flowers. A subtle base of vetiver, cedar and musk rounds off the composition and lends it a woody warmth. Weighing 22 g, this piece of wax is designed for use in classic fragrance lamps, where it is heated by a tea light without the addition of water. The high-quality paraffin wax is infused with 7% fragrance oil, which allows for an even intensity over a burning time of up to 8 hours. Thanks to the special formula, the wax liquefies quickly and ensures rapid room fragrancing. The melts can also be combined with each other to create customised fragrance creations.

    Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
