Free returns up to 180 daysWith the Yankee Candle Ocean Air votive candle in a jar, you can bring the scent of a relaxing day at the beach into your living room. The fragrance combines a top note of fresh air with a heart of fresh floral notes. The fragrance composition is rounded off with a base note reminiscent of the sparkling sea. The votive candle in a jar is a great alternative to conventional votive candles, as no additional accessories are required. This also makes the votive candle a beautiful gift. Made from high-quality paraffin wax, which is completely infused with 7% scented oil, the scented candle emits its pleasant fragrance for the entire burning time of 7 to 10 hours. The votive candle is also equipped with a cotton wick, which ensures good burning behaviour.
How to use the Yankee Candle Ocean Air votive candle safely
Place the votive candle in the jar on a fireproof, even surface away from children's hands and pets. Then shorten the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm. This keeps the flame small and minimises soot formation. To ensure that the candle burns evenly, it is important to let it burn at least until the top layer of wax is completely liquid.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
