The Yankee Candle Bayside Cedar scented wax exudes a fresh, pure fragrance reminiscent of a walk along a forest path after a rain shower. The wax melts owe their refreshing aroma to a composition of grapefruit, pear and bergamot with a heart of mandarin blossom and water lily. The base with notes of warm amber, cedarwood and musk gives the fragrance a spicy undertone. The wax melts are made from high-quality paraffin wax and contain 7% of the fragrance oil throughout. When heated in a fragrance lamp, the wax melts and releases its wonderful fragrance notes for up to 8 hours. As soon as the scented wax has cooled down, you can remove it and choose a new fragrance.

The wax melts are ideal for the manufacturer's Scenterpiece fragrance lamp. However, they can also be used in a conventional fragrance lamp as long as it has a sufficiently deep bowl. The fragrance lamp should be lit with a fragrance-free tea light so as not to distort the aroma of the scented wax. Regardless of whether you use a fragrance lamp or scenterpiece, the wax melt melts quickly and gives off a pleasant aroma. Please note that you can only remove the scented wax once it has cooled down.Use
Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
