How to use the Yankee Candle Midnight Jasmine scented candle
The Yankee Candle scented candles in the Small Tumbler require a location out of reach of children's hands and pets. The surface should also be even and heat-resistant. Before lighting the candle, shorten the wick to a length of around 5 mm. This keeps the flame smaller and prevents a lot of soot from forming. To prevent the formation of a tunnel during use, you should leave the scented candles to burn for at least 2 hours at a time. This allows the wax to liquefy from edge to edge and the candle burns evenly.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
