Y L'Elixir is a new interpretation of the popular men's fragrance Y by Yves Saint Laurent. In its new formula, this fragrance is now even more concentrated and more intensely perceptible than all previous versions of the scent. This perfume was conceived by Dominique Ropion for Yves Saint Laurent. Suzanne Dalton was responsible for the design of the equally unusual bottle. The metallic blue colour of the glass bottle is a credible continuation of the stylish narrative of the powerful, masculine fragrance.

The perfume Y L'Elixir by Yves Saint Laurent enchants with an absolutely extraordinary composition of precious fragrance essences. The intense, woody fragrance spectrum has top notes of ginger, saffron and bergamot. These distinctly spicy notes are complemented by a heart note of geranium, juniper and lavender. The lavender for this comes from Provence and lets you breathe in the magic of this unique region with every whiff. The base note of eaglewood and incense gives the perfume a warm and grounding finish.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
