The ghd max styler is a professional styling tool specifically designed to meet the needs of long, thick or curly hair. Its signature styling plates are significantly larger than standard stylers at approximately 4.2cm wide, allowing you to style large sections of hair in less time. Dual-zone technology is at the heart of the appliance: two heat sensors constantly monitor the optimum styling temperature of 185 °C and distribute the heat evenly over the entire plate surface. This ensures a uniform result from roots to ends without the need to apply extreme heat.
The elegant, rounded design in combination with the smooth ceramic plates with a high-gloss coating opens up versatile styling options, from silky smooth looks to loose waves. The quick heat-up time of 30 seconds, a 2.7 m swivel cable and the automatic sleep mode, which switches the styler off after 30 minutes of inactivity, ensure comfortable and safe use.Description

After around one minute, a conventional hair straightener reaches its average operating temperature of 120° Celsius and is ready for use. Now take a strand of hair that has previously been treated with a heat protectant and run the straightener evenly from the roots to the ends. Be careful not to start directly at the roots to avoid burning the scalp.
Treat the bottom hair first, then the top hair - strand by strand. It is important to make even movements so that the hair is not overheated at certain points. To avoid protruding ends, pull the straightening iron in a gentle, sweeping arc. Finally, fix the hairstyle with an anti-frizz conditioner or hairspray to make it resistant to external influences.
