The Slip Queen pillowcase in the Petal shade is made from pure, long-fibre mulberry silk of the highest 6A grade. This textile product utilises the specially developed slipsilk™ fabric, which has a thread count of 22 Momme and has been refined over a long period to meet the highest quality standards. This special type of silk combines a lustrous appearance with a noticeable softness and robust durability. Studies have shown that, in a direct comparison with many conventional cotton textiles, the smooth surface generates on average 43% less friction. This can help to reduce mechanical stress on the skin’s surface and on the hair whilst you sleep. Furthermore, the fibre has lower absorbency than other types of fabric, which can mean that moisture and previously applied skincare products are more likely to remain on the skin rather than being absorbed by the pillowcase. Non-toxic dyes are used in the manufacturing process to achieve the soft rose hue. The cover features elegant piping and a concealed zip that securely encloses the pillow. Measuring 51 cm x 76 cm, this model fits standard queen-size pillows. Care is straightforward, as the material is machine-washable provided the instructions are followed.
