This eau de parfum from Amouage embodies an olfactory homage to the legends of the historic Silk Road. As part of The Main Man Collection, the creation is characterised by a woody character that captures the mysticism of distant trade routes. The opening is characterised by a complex blend of pink pepper, frankincense, cumin and cardamom, which is complemented by subtle nuances of saffron, mace and myrtle. This spicy top note merges gently into a heart of geranium and myrrh, giving the fragrance a certain depth. The long-lasting foundation is provided by intense accords of oud, sandalwood, leather and cedarwood, which are harmoniously rounded off with musk and castoreum. Particular attention is paid to the quality of production, as the essence has an oil concentration of 23 per cent and undergoes a six-week maturation process. Visually, the fragrance is presented in a striking, rectangular bottle whose colour gradient from deep green to black is reminiscent of imperial jade. In the centre of the glass is a gold-coloured, decorative emblem, under which the name of the brand and the fragrance are printed in gold lettering. A sculptural, gold-coloured cap with an embedded green gemstone crowns the design and rounds off the overall aesthetic look.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
