Opus XVI Timber from Amouage's Library Collection is an olfactory homage to wood as an archetype of endurance, knowledge and refuge. The inspiration for this complex composition comes from the mighty redwood trees of California and the frankincense trees of Oman. The eau de parfum unfolds as a multi-layered arrangement that begins with a woody monumentality. Notes of cypress, cardamom and juniper in the top notes lead to a heart of fir balsam and hojari incense. A multi-faceted, smoky and spicy experience develops as the fragrance progresses. The base of palo santo, bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, cedarwood and patchouli gives the fragrance a warm depth. Designed as a unisex fragrance in the "woody - dark" family, the creation is presented in a high-quality bottle with a matt, sand-coloured finish, the design of which reflects the elegance of the contents.
