Aveda Styling Brilliant Retexturing Gel

Specially developed for medium to thick hair, the Brilliant Retexturing Gel is a versatile styling product. The formula combines functional cosmetics with botanical ingredients, utilising ingredients such as certified organic aloe, calendula and chamomile. This complex is complemented by hydrolysed wheat protein, which can help define the hair strands. The gel provides the hair with a medium hold, ensuring stability without completely restricting its natural movement. At the same time, the hair is given a glossy finish that visually enhances its texture. Whether for air-dried styles or precise blow-dried looks, the product can be worked into the hair whilst it is either damp or dry. The styling experience is enhanced by the brand’s signature Pure-Fume™ fragrance, which exudes notes of jasmine, rose and certified organic clove. Packaged in a handy 150 ml tube, the gel goes a long way and is easy to dispense.

To give your hairstyle a wet or shiny look, you need to use your hair gel sparingly. Apply a hazelnut-sized amount to your fingertips and work the gel in as desired. Using a wide-toothed comb, the gel can be easily and, above all, evenly distributed through the hair. You can also use the comb to achieve a slicked-back look. The hair gel should now be left to air dry. This will maintain the desired hairstyle. You can also blow-dry the hair with a gentle stream of air.
