This multifunctional applicator tool was developed for precise application and seamless blending of liquid and creamy textures. The design of The Sponge is characterised by four specially cut surfaces that cover different areas of application. A short, flat side enables the targeted application of blusher or bronzer, for example, while the fine tip reaches hard-to-reach areas such as the wings of the nose or the area under the eyes. With the lower surface, formulas can be applied to large areas with gentle dabbing movements. The material feels particularly soft on contact with the skin and is reminiscent of the texture of a marshmallow. It can be used both dry and wet, allowing the finish to be varied. When used wet, a lighter, fresher result can be achieved, while dry use tends to favour medium to natural coverage. A black, round base with logo is used for hygienic storage, on which the peach-coloured sponge is placed.
