For quick and effective hand hygiene, even when soap and water are not available, Dr Bronner's offers the organic lavender hand hygiene spray. The formula is based on organic alcohol obtained from fairly traded sugar cane. Enriched with water and glycerine, the formula leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin. The fragrance of the spray is determined by the addition of lavender essential oil, which provides a calming aroma. Hand sanitiser is available as a spray or gel. Depending on the product chosen, the application differs only in the way it is dispensed. Whether spray or gel, apply a sufficient amount of hand sanitiser to the palms of your hands and rub them together. Make sure that you also rub the disinfectant into your wrists. For optimum hand hygiene, you should also rub the palms of your hands over the back of the other hand. Don't forget the spaces between the fingers and the thumb. The best way to sanitise your thumb is to place it in the closed palm of your other hand. Finally, rub the fingertips on the opposite palm.
