Dr. Bronner’s Spearmint Toothpaste is a conscious alternative for daily oral hygiene that combines tradition with sustainability. Hidden within the distinctive green tube is a formula that is entirely free from fluoride, synthetic foaming agents and surfactants. Instead, fine calcium carbonate and silica act as the mineral abrasives, gently cleansing the teeth. This base is complemented by bicarbonate of soda and saponified organic coconut oil, creating a unique, low-foaming consistency. A key feature is the fair-trade spearmint essential oil it contains, which originates from India and provides a mild, minty flavour that leaves the mouth feeling fresh. As a long-established company, Dr. Bronner’s places great emphasis on purity, which is why the vegan formula is free from artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives and sweeteners. At least 70 per cent of the raw materials used come from certified organic cultivation.
