As part of GUERLAIN’s ‘Les Légendaires’ collection, Chamade represents an iconic fragrance moment, created by Jean-Paul Guerlain in 1969. The composition is an ode to love and unfolds as a dynamic, floral-green fragrance with warm, woody accents. It opens with the distinctive note of bourgeon de cassis – the blackcurrant bud – which was used in a fragrance formula for the first time here, accompanied by fresh hyacinth. At the heart, an opulent bouquet of jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose unfolds, lending the Eau de Toilette its distinctive character. A base of creamy vanilla and soft sandalwood rounds off the fragrance experience and leaves a lasting impression. This legendary creation is bottled in the classic ‘inverted heart’ flacon, a glass vessel designed by George Chevalier as early as 1912, which reflects the history of the House.
