Jicky is one of the oldest fragrances from the Guerlain label. The fragrance was launched at the end of the 1880s and has been produced unchanged ever since. Jicky was a revolutionary eau de parfum spray, as it was the first to contain synthetically produced vanillin and coumarin flavours. Guerlain broke new ground and created a spicy-oriental eau de parfum spray that has been delighting women for a good 125 years. The jewelled bottle, designed by Daniel Guerlain himself, also contributes to this.
A fragrance that inspires, divides opinion and yet is unforgettable
If you were to compare fragrances to dresses, Jicky would be the little black dress: high-necked and yet a touch too short to be elegant. It is rather sexy, slightly wicked and therefore all the more exciting. In the top note of the eau de parfum spray, rosemary and bergamot meet lemons and mandarins. The spicy floral heart note begins with lavender and basil before moving on to jasmine, orris root, roses, vetiver and patchouli. The base is also opulent.
