Developed for professional stylists, the tool offers you all the freedom you could wish for when working on your hair. Among other things, the curling iron is equipped with a 2.7 metre long and 360 degree rotatable power cord, so you can let your creativity run wild without having to accept restrictions on your freedom of movement. The ceramic-coated curling iron L from the ProEdition by Goldwell also offers an individually adjustable temperature up to 225 °C for perfect results. To prevent mishaps, the appliance also switches off automatically after 60 minutes.
The perfect tool for big curls
The Goldwell curling iron L from the ProEdition is tapered and has a diameter of 19 to 32 mm. You can therefore style your look completely individually. The appliance rotates automatically to the right or left and therefore guarantees perfect curls and enormous volume. Thanks to the ceramic coating, the wand also glides through your hair particularly easily and gently, drastically reducing the risk of heat damage. Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.
Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.
Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.
Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.
Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
