The curling irons & hairdryers from HH Simonsen, which are available in numerous variants, are indispensable for professional hair styling. With the VS2 Rod curling iron, you can create medium curls and waves safely and reliably in no time at all - both in the salon and at home. The curling iron is ideal for extravagant hairstyling, as it can be used to effortlessly create soft Madonna curls. This is thanks to the inverted conical shape of the heating rod. Like all curling irons and hairdryers from HH Simonsen, the VS2 rod Curling Iron is equipped with high-quality ceramic heating elements. This curling iron even has two of them, which ensures even heat distribution when styling hair. The appliance also has a safety switch-off function after 90 minutes, providing optimum protection against heat damage. The VS2 Rod Curling Iron can be operated at 110 and 220 volts and is therefore ideal for use when travelling. It is equipped with a long, 360° rotatable cable and a non-slip handle for safe handling. Hair styling
Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.
Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.
Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.
Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.
Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
