To ensure that perfume is shown to its best advantage, it should always be sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The body’s warmth allows the chosen fragrance to unfold quickly. If using a spray bottle, the distance should be approximately 20 cm. The fine mist should not be rubbed in and is left to dry on the skin. As the mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin should always be perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before applying perfume. The fragrance notes of the perfume cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
