The K18 Damage Shield pH Protective Shampoo is an advanced option for regular hair washing. Designed as an effective cleansing solution, this product features a pH-optimised formula that is specifically formulated to rid the hair of residue. The focus is on preserving the natural balance of the hair and scalp. The formula incorporates the patented K18PEPTIDE™, a specific technology designed to support the hair’s structure. Plant-based surfactants enable thorough cleansing without unnecessarily stressing the hair. Excessive swelling of the outer cuticle layer can be prevented by the specially balanced pH level. This property is particularly important for chemically treated or coloured hair. The scalp microbiome is also taken into account in the selection of ingredients. Visually, the product is presented in a white bottle with blue accents and clear labelling. The unchanged formula was previously known as PEPTIDE PREP™ pH Maintenance Shampoo. It is easy to use: simply massage it into wet hair and then rinse out, creating the ideal base for further styling steps.

The K18 Damage Shield Protective Conditioner offers a scientifically grounded approach to your daily hair care routine. This specialised formulation aims to make the hair fibres more resilient to everyday stresses such as UV radiation, mechanical styling and environmental factors. The K18PEPTIDE™ it contains helps preserve the protein structure during washing, whilst biotechnologically produced polysaccharides can act as a biomimetic barrier. A light gel texture, enriched with ceramides as well as jojoba and sweet almond oil, imparts suppleness without resorting to film-forming silicones or waxes. The hair is given a natural shine and combing is noticeably easier. Furthermore, the pH-optimised formula is designed to minimise swelling of the cuticle and maintain softness for up to three days. It is best applied to the lengths and ends to avoid weighing the hair down.

Gently massage the shampoo into the hair and scalp. Then rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.
