The Aqua Imperi eau de toilette spray comes from the Colognes Botaniques range by Le Couvent des Minimes. The fragrance is floral and fougère-like and is aimed at both men and women. Perfumer Celine Ripert has created an almost purist fragrance that does not require a fragrance pyramid and only needs three aromas. Provençal lavender, citrus fruits and myrtle are used to make the Colognes Botaniques Eau de Toilette Spray Aqua Imperi, launched in 2019, what it is. All plants that can also be found in the botanical garden of Le Couvent des Minimes. This is a garden that has been attracting scholars from all over the world since the 17th century.
Inspired by tradition
Le Couvent des Minimes is a monastery in the south of France, where monks have been using the splendour of the botanical garden for centuries to produce effective creams, lotions and scented waters on a natural basis from the sometimes foreign plants. The Le Couvent des Minimes brand carries on this tradition. This includes the Colognes Botaniques collection, which also includes the Aqua Imperi eau de toilette spray. In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
