The inspiration for Le Couvent Maison de Parfum Parfums Remarquables Sperone Eau de Parfum Spray was the French island of Corsica, which is popularly known as the "Island of Beauty", and not just by the French. Sperone, a small spot at the southernmost end of Corsica, served as the model for the fragrance.
