The inspiration for this fragrance composition came from hidden gardens full of lush plants that are often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With the Secret Gardenia Eau de Parfum Spray, Miller Harris presents a contemporary and fresh interpretation of the classic gardenia, characterised by clarity. Developed by perfumer Mathieu Nardin, the bouquet opens with a sparkling top note of yuzu, juicy nashi pear and bergamot, complemented by light aquatic accents. At the centre of the olfactory journey is the eponymous gardenia, which is given a floral depth by nuances of jasmine, ylang-ylang and delicate violet blossom. The fragrance gently fades into a harmonious base of driftwood, creamy sandalwood, cedarwood and musk, giving the fragrance a soft character. Visually, the rectangular, white bottle with its golden lettering and cylindrical cap reflects the purity of the notes it contains. No ingredients such as parabens, phthalates or artificial colourings are used in the production process, which means the formulation is deliberately kept puristic.
